Officially Starting at Pittsburgh!
As of today (September 1, 2025), I am officially an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh! I’m really excited to be part of one of the largest particle physics groups in the U.S. as part of the Pitt PACC, and look forward to getting to know all my new colleagues better here. I’m also extremely grateful to all my mentors for helping me reach this point, especially those at Stony Brook, Harvard and Cornell (where I somewhat regret that I only got to spend one year).
For those of you here in Pittsburgh, please stop by my office in Allen Hall to say hello. If I’m not around and you want to chat, shoot me an e-mail and we can fix a time—I’d be especially happy to talk to any of the graduate students in the group to learn about what they’re working on, or talk about possible future projects together.
To those of you not at Pittsburgh, I will (hopefully) be trying to expand the group somewhat in the next few years, so stay tuned for some future announcements, or shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions. If you’re interested in graduate studies, I will likely defer a lot of inquiries to our centralized admissions process (see this link for details), but if you have questions particular to studying particle theory at Pittsburgh, I’ll do my best to get back to you.
More soon!
